The Manly World of Food

My day finished having “commuted” home with Blair back on the 5.30 ferry, a coffee together and then as I started home I came across  a cacophony of colour, languages, food and music in front of the Local Town Hall at the Wharf end of the Corso.

About 10 food stalls, including spanish, french, turkish, mexican, italian were set up and folks obviously indulging themselves with their preferences. Lots of white garden tables and chairs set out on the grass with coloured fairy lights twinkling  through the trees as dusk quickly settled. All ages, babies, small children, teenagers, mums, dads, grans and grandads  all relaxing and enjoying a beautiful evening with excellent live music provided by a range of musicians.  I just enjoyed “being” a part of it. A great way to start the weekend!
