Travelled thousands of miles across the world, landed only 3 mins behind schedule and then had to wait for 40 mins as they tried again and again........and again and again to attach the bridge to the plane door to allow us to disembark….we have the technology? Bag third off the carousel……. well done Heathrow, fast track through immigration in 5 mins…..well done Sydney..... and Blair was of course waiting for me in the airport.
I was so emotional….nuff said!!!!! It was such a joy to hug him. He is looking great even with a light tan for the first time in his life. Good car share scheme here where you buy a swipe type card (opens the car instead of a key) and then pick up your car from a number of spots / car parks across the city and deposit somewhere else. You can hire by the hour as well as day/ week etc.
Great being driven through Sydney, across the Harbour Bridge with all the lights sparkling, through Manly to the national park here at Q Station Retreat.
You can’t drive cars around the grounds as it is a conservation area and everything is very much eco orientated.
We sat for a while and caught up on stuff before Blair left at midnight as he had to return the car to a car park and then walk home.
Absolutely shattered and crashed out immediately.
