Came across this website with a neat little map where you can simply and easily record your travels. It automatically gives you information re larger towns and cities with additional hyperlinks. Allows you to upload photos etc and has links to other travellers' blogs . Will explore further, I know there are several like this but found it so easy to draw my map of this adventure.
